I write about the stories beneath the stories: how culture travels, what we inherit without noticing, why some traditions endure and others don't, and how fashion, music, objects and ritual become carriers of identity.
My current work explores culture, creativity, migration, memory and belonging, with particular attention to South Asian culture on the move.
